Teri is an active member of the AASA, having joined in 2009. She has previously served on the Board as Vice-President (2015-16), Education Chair (2014-15), Education Co-Chair (2013-14) and Midwest Regional Representative (2012-13) as well as participating on the Education Committees (2010-2016). Teri has presented several times at annual and regional conferences of the AASA and the National Council of University Research Administrators.

Teri has over 25 years of healthcare management experience in both corporate and academic institutions. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Business Services and Chief Financial Officer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI, having joined the department in July 2009.

Teri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Wisconsin.

Teri and her husband George live in Madison, WI where they love to sail, run, bike and ski.
